The Korean Government through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has been providing longstanding contributions to the continued development of Jamaica through cooperative relations.
On September 13, 2017 at an official handing over ceremony of Hyundai Santa Fe motor vehicles to the Government of Jamaica, the Korean Government specifically provided the Rural Agricultural Development Authority with one of these vehicles to assist in undertaking the mandate to provide technical extension services to the farmers of Jamaica.
In bringing greetings at the Official Ceremony, Mr. Peter Thompson, RADA Chief Executive Officer highlighted that the generous contribution given to the Rural Agricultural Development Authority through the vehicle donation was graciously accepted. As World Friends the Rural Agricultural Development Authority congratulates the Korean Government for their selfless service and looks forward to continued mutual relations.
The other two vehicles were handed over to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Health.
