The Ministry of Agriculture on behalf of the Planning Institute of Jamaica (the Contracting Authority) is seeking proposals to improve the living conditions of the target communities in the parishes of St. James, Portland, St. Mary, St. Thomas, Clarendon and St. Catherine, Jamaica, West Indies.
The proposals must be directed at creating income and employment opportunities for former banana farmers, and displaced farm and port workers by promoting economic activities in and around their communities.
This Call for Proposals is being financed from the Special Framework of Assistance (SFA) Grant Funds provided by the European Union. The full Guidelines for Applications are available for consultation at the offices of the European Union Banana Support Programme (EUBSP) at:
