Agricultural sector records 24% increase in domestic crop production in the first quarter of 2011

The Agricultural sector has recorded an increase in domestic crop production for the first quarter (January to March) of 2011. Production at 147, 378 tonnes was 24 percent more, when compared to the first quarter of 2010 and was the highest figure to be recorded in any single quarter since 1999.
